Presented by the Cybersecurity & Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA), this presentation highlights the evolving cyber and physical threats targeting U.S. critical infrastructure, specifically focusing on how nation-state actors utilize Volt Typhoon to target Operational Technology (OT) and Industrial Control Systems (ICS). By utilizing “living off the land” techniques, these adversaries blend into networks across vital sectors—including Water, Energy, Communications, and Transportation—to maintain persistence and pre-position for potential operational disruptions. Because unauthorized access to OT environments can trigger physical consequences like compromised utility controls or facility systems, organizations must integrate cyber, physical, andoperational security to ensure true resilience.

Registration is free for Bio Nebraska members and $25 for non-members.
