Mr. Sneller began work in the Nebraska ethanol development program in 1976 with the Nebraska Agricultural Products Industrial Utilization Committee, now the Nebraska Ethanol Board. He assisted the Nebraska Department of Economic Development as an industrial development consultant before returning to the Nebraska Agricultural Products Industrial Utilization Committee as the agency’s administrator. He also served as technical advisor of the Nebraska Ethanol Authority and Development Board where he managed a $20 million equity investment fund.
Sneller’s 42-year career includes ethanol plant recruitment, legislative and regulatory assistance to ethanol producers, marketing and policy program development and public outreach activities.
Sneller retired as administrator of the Nebraska Ethanol Board in September 2018. He currently serves as Managing Director of the non-profit Nebraska Ethanol Industry Coalition and consults via Sneller Associates. He also serves as chair of the Clean Fuels Development Coalition, a national biofuel advocacy organization.
