Bio Nebraska Foundation Reaches Fundraising Goal to Support Bioscience Education in Nebraska

The Bio Nebraska Foundation announced today that though the generous support of the bioscience community, it reached its fundraising goal and raised approximately $25,000, which includes the Dr. C.C. and Mabel L. Criss Memorial Foundation’s matching funds of $10,000.

The funds will be used to support the Marylinn Munson and Bio Nebraska Foundation STEM Scholarship and the Women in Bioscience Scholarship.

This campaign, launched earlier this year, sought to raise $10,000 to support and expand the Foundation’s initiatives dedicated to building a highly educated and diverse workforce in Nebraska’s bioscience industry. These efforts include providing scholarships to talented Nebraska students pursuing bioscience degrees and offering educational programming to professionals looking to advance their bioscience careers.

We are grateful to each donor and to the Dr. C.C. and Mabel L. Criss Memorial Foundation for their support in our work to make Nebraska a leader in the bioscience industry. Learn more about the Bio Nebraska Foundation HERE.
