Member Spotlight: Reddi Inc.

For our June Member Spotlight, we talked to Vish Reddi about his company, Reddi Inc. Reddi is a small Engineering Procurement & Construction Management (EPCM) company that focuses on design function and compliance to support the growth of Bio-Pharma companies.

Tell us about Reddi Inc.

Reddi Inc. is a small Engineering Procurement & Construction Management (EPCM) company. One may think of us as a Design-Build firm although there are some key differences. The most significant difference is that we take responsibility for the design function, not just the design, ensure that it complies with the respective CFR (Code of Federal Requirements) and other applicable standards, and help Bio-Pharma companies accomplish that next phase of growth.

What services do you offer?

We offer the following services:

  • Engineering design of production systems
  • Design of buildings & campuses
  • Procurement of complex pieces of equipment (including development of qualification protocols and training)
  • Construction management

Our staff are certified by various organizations to ensure that we stay current with the latest skills. We have the following certifications:

  • HFDP by ASHRAE
  • PMP by PMI
  • LEED
  • WELL
  • Lean & Six Sigma
  • PE in Minnesota & Nebraska
Why is Nebraska an important location for Reddi?

It is important to us to be centrally located in the U.S. while we develop our connections around the country and in countries such as India and Brazil. Our staff have performed projects in many states in the U.S. and in other countries such as Germany and Canada, for instance, and believe in maintaining a high standard of care and service. Simply put, we get great talent here in Nebraska and the best work ethic in the country, in my humble opinion.

How does Reddi support Nebraska’s biotech industry?

Reddi supports the biotech industry by providing a good resource to partner with for your next project. A very important aspect is that we stay small and nimble by choice. Quite frequently we see other EPCM companies grow too quickly and struggle to keep up with innovations. We stay “right-sized” for our clients so that we can explore trends and provide solutions that larger enterprises may not be able to offer. The most important “personality trait” is that here, at Reddi Inc., the first thing we build is trust. We believe that progress happens at the speed of trust.

Who are your customers and where are they located?

Our most recent customers were in Lincoln and Omaha. We just completed a customized packaging and distribution center in Omaha and are currently working on developing a facility expansion project for a national client. This next project, when it begins, will be in California. The simplest way to describe our client base is to say that we help companies with complex operations simplify their processes by providing solutions that are well integrated. Our most recent clients were Huvepharma and Omaha Industries.

What are some of the biggest challenges facing the biotech industry today and how can Reddi help overcome those challenges?

Our industry environment is complicated and it only seems to get more so with every passing year. Most recently, we all had to deal with surviving through the pandemic and the challenges that it is still presenting in the workforce. Our biggest challenge, and I believe this to be true across all sectors of industry, is to use our resources in the most efficient and effective way possible. Our clients are being asked to do produce impactful outcomes with fewer resources and we see that trend growing in the years to come while the regulatory environment only gets more complex.

What else would you like to include?

We are here to help and while we learn on every project we do, we are confident that our talent will add an immensely positive impact to your next project. We thank you for your support thus far and look forward to being of service.
